Wanna know how to automatically change color of status bar according to the app's color like in iOS6/7 and coming Material Design? This is done using Tinted Status Bar. Inspired the latest Android 4.4 fake leaks (whether true or not), implemented by Paranoid Android as manual tinting, and now, an Xposed module with automatic tinting for most apps.
This module tints your status bar according to the currently shown activity, it also allows you to customize the tint color yourself on a per app basis. You'll need to do that for apps where auto detect doesn't work.
It also allows you to have the KitKat gradient on devices that support this module, use 66000000 as the color to achieve that.

Note: This tweak requires root permissions. So, better root your phone before installing.

All Jelly Bean and KitKat devices should be compatible. Some ROMs may introduce issues, if they're open source, I can look into it, if not, post a reply with a deodexed copy of your SystemUI.apk

5. Click on Framework and then click on Install/Update.

9. Install the Tinted Status Bar app by clicking on it.
10. Now open Xposed Installer app from app drawer and click on Modules.
11. Select Tinted Status Bar.
12. Now Reboot gain.
13. After Boot, open Tinted Status Bar app from app drawer and change setting if needed.
Vola! You have done it.

Steps to get Tinted Status Bar
1. First Download Xposed Installer App by Clicking Here2. Now Copy the downloaded APK into your phone's SD Card.
3. Install the app by clicking on it.
4. Now, open Xposed Installer from app drawer.
5. Click on Framework and then click on Install/Update.
